TransGear Airways events are scheduled for the second Saturday of each month. Twenty routes, consisting of three legs each with a fifteen-minute layover between each leg, start between approximately 1300 and 1400 UTC and end between approximately 1800 and 1900 UTC. Pilots are encouraged to sign up for the entire route; however, to accommodate participants' schedules as necessary, each route may be broken up into individual legs (changing the flight numbers to end in 1, 2, or 3 respectively), or a pilot may do the first and second legs together (changing the flight number to end in 4), or the second and third legs together (ending in 5). The unclaimed portion of any route may be chosen by any other pilot who wishes to participate by flying a partial route.
